Accidental Achievement Unlock: Unforgettable

I was inactive for roughly half a year and just now got curious about this new expansion (just before this update was rolled out, might explain some weirdness on my end.)

And this achievement was unlocked for me yesterday, despite me being pretty sure that I didn't actually find all of The Shaper's Memory Fragments. The quest dialog in the corner also doesn't indicate that I did.

Is it possible for this achievement to get removed from my account so I can earn it fairly (I'm not sure how this works with Steam)?

I'll try to avoid bumping this too often.

But this definitely getting a bit distracting for me (a very very low percentage of Steam PoE players have earned this, so I really don't think this is fair for me to keep it on my accounts).

I'm aware of some third-party avenues but I don't want to pursue them if I can get this ironed out with GGG and/or Steam themselves. They're also too risky for my blood.

I understand if staff/admins might be preoccupied though, given the recent update. So I'll try to be patient and wait for a response for a few more days before bumping again.

Wow. I just realized I have a lot of unlocked achievements that I didn't earn...

Pretty much every Hardcore Achievement on my account I haven't earned yet.

I'm sure I didn't get "Untouchable" because I chickened out of my only tries for the Labyrinth on my last really good Hardcore run (farthest I've ever gotten was just before the Daresso/Kaom quests). Further evidenced by the fact I don't have the "Fearless", "Dauntless", nor "Indomitable" Achievements (which are pretty much it's prerequisites.)

Plus there is also a weird disjunct between what my Steam account says I've unlocked and what my GGG account over here says I've unlocked.

Steam says I got all my Forsaken Masters to max level, and I know I haven't (which is shown accurately over here).

Neither have I unlocked all the gods or fully upgraded them. Also that whole quest line was broken for my MC, Accapare, who had completed all the main quests (sans the atlas/map quests) from Normal to Merciless before the Oriath expansion was in place. Saying that I already killed a lot of gods, when I was inactive.

I don't mind if that character's progress with the Oriath stuff gets rolled back at this point. I feel like I didn't earn that progress fairly. Plus I missed a whole lot of the story as a result.

I'm very confused and have no idea how this happened.

Feel free to tell me if I need to make anymore screenshots or bug reports (or to post in another relevant thread). But I feel like these issue are all related somehow? Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

(It's not lost on me that I should also see whether Steam could fix some of these errors, their side.)
