3.0 Glacial Hammer ( Tri curse , reflect proof, 50%+ Freeze, budget , videos )
I might be missing something here but your example gear in the post has Hatred socketed, am I actually meant to be running it? because with the amount of mana I have reserved already for my curses, I'm unsure how that's possible
e: VVV ah now that makes sense, thanks Last edited by SpruceZeus#3405 on Sep 6, 2017, 9:47:25 PM

" I actually run the hatred when doing hexproof maps. You can actually put in an artic armour too if you have the socket. |

Hey nice build, i'm consider running it atm as i got a champion dual doryanis catalyst wielder gh build atm and got some survival problems in some red maps.
But the main question i have is, does the carcass jack even work? I used it as well but couldnt see a difference in dmg to my belly of the beast. And Path of Building shows no dmg increase with a carcass jack. What is your thought behind running melee physical? is it stronger then the flat cold dmg from ice bite? |

" Thanks for the compliment. Area damage isn't visible. Its nice to have but to be honest you get enough area of effect from the passive tree so basically, i would say koams is better with a 6 linked undying rage. Physical damage should increase the damage more than the flat damage from ice bite. Last edited by ninedeadeyes#2466 on Sep 9, 2017, 5:53:40 PM

Personal tip to start of as melee:
I know it's not the best or the fastest way, but personally I dislike changing playstyles mid-game (Meaning going from spells to melee) So, what I did was buy a couple of uniques (really cheap on poe.trade) 1. The Blood Thorn: A lot of block chance, it gives a nice survivability and dps. 2. Kaom's Sign: Really nice for the +Strength/Health/Healing 3. Meginord's Girdle: Amazing item for more strength at early levels, making leveling gems and equiping reasonable melee oriented gear (This one costs 1c. It's cheap for veterans but for newcomers, it could be "expensive") Like I said, the way the guides tells you to level is the easiest/fastest way, but if you wanna go melee and not have such a hard time early on, grap a couple of these uniques :) Last edited by Vasnir#1878 on Sep 20, 2017, 11:06:21 AM

" You possibly can but i've always levelled up using +1 wands with witch. Since early passive trees is mostly hp and elemental damage its a good fit for firestorm.. I can't imagine it being too hard with the right uniques. |
