Possible bug with chaos/poison damage in specific case

My build uses Mind Over Matter in a hybrid Life/ES build by using Incandescent Heart and Corrupted Energy (with 5 corrupted items) to have 50% of physical and 25% of elemental bypass energy shield so that it triggers Mind Over Matter.

It worked very well, except I suddenly started taking massive spikes in damage. I found out it was chaos/poison that was draining my total EHP of 8k+ in a matter of a second. When testing with a viper strike spider the poison would completely wreck me, but when I removed Corrupted Energy jewel it was completely fine with my 75% chaos resist, barely outdamaging my life regen.

Corrupted Energy reads: "With 5 Corrupted Items Equipped: 50% of Chaos Damage does not bypass Energy Shield, and 50% of Physical Damage bypasses Energy Shield", which should still let my chaos resist affect the whole part of the chaos damage right? and once ES is removed it should be functionally identical if I have the jewel or not shouldn't it? but my testing showed otherwise, outdamaging my regen by far when my jewel was in.

Edit: same also happens if I remove one of the corrupted items while poisoned (making Corrupted Energy not function), suddenly my poison damage was reduced to almost nothing.

That doesn't explain that the same behaviour happens when my energy shield is gone though.

Any chance anyone can look into this? it kinda ruins my build for physical damage when Corrupted Energy makes poison/chaos almost one-shot me each time...

Same issue, I also use Incandescent Heart and Corrupted Energy, makes build unplayable.

Hope they are looking at the issue and not ignoring a minority build issues.

been considering looking into making a youtube video so I can post the bug to reddit and get some exposure of it, but hopefully this gets looked at regardless, just not a high priority (understandably)

I just think that's an easy fix, so I wonder why they don't reply to your post.

I think it might not be an easy fix at all, might be some strange interaction that's really hard to fix without changing underlying systems, but guess we'll see
