5-Links and you

I've seen a few as SSF even with pretty minimal farming thus far.

If you're a caster, farm Jungle Valley for the 5-link staff cards. Otherwise just keep farming maps. I usually don't *need* to have a 5-link until yellow maps.

My routine, when I launch the game or change characters, includes checking all equipment vendors in part 2 for 6 sockets, five links and tri color linked items. I find them pretty regularly (well not 5 links).

you save up a few hundred fuses and go straight to 6linked in under 100 but you´ve to stream while fusing or no streamerluck and rub it on kuduku 3 times for good measure.

no joke but you´ve to commit to 6linking and only waste fuses on good items that you intend to keep / buildenabling and not going to be replaced.

no1 uses the mastercraft for linking.

i´ve made several 5-6links in every league with commitment , save all the orbs you get while lvling , buy fuses , turn chaos and exas into fuses ??? sell your stuff , be an active trader makes it way easier.

if you are ssf though gl with ever seeing a 6l made by yourself thats the harsh truth.

doable ? sure

time-efficient? not so much.

I just bought a white 5 link armor chest and essence crafted.

From a vendor or on poe.trade?

You just buy one from trade, so much cheaper than any other options you don't even need to think of them. When a new league starts, set a live search for 5 link with certain attributes requirement, wait for the whoop.


Do not try to 5/6 link an item early in the league, unless you play as much as a streamer, or it's an endgame unique for your build.


If you happen to play SSF, then I would suggest you start with an ascendancy class that provides a natural extra link, like inquisitor with ele pen or assassin with crit strikes/power charge on crit, run this character to build a bank then play your main char.

When do the vendors start to have a chance at selling 5 links? I only ever see 3-4 links.

And we are talking vendors, such as HArgan correct? What about masters?
