Survivability Issues - Act 6

I'm a returning player and I'm really at a loss right now.

I am following this build as best I can, but am constantly being killed in act 6.

Is there a way I can fix my issues surviving?

My characters aren't hidden, so if that helps, that's a thing.

I may be wrong here, but I believe the RF totem build got nerfed in the 3.0 patch changes. Notably totems take 50% less damage but have 50% less life to compensate. There is no net gain to the lifetime of the totem but the potential damage of RF totems dropped by a fair chunk (as it is based on totem life).

Looking at your gear.... you have next to no life on your items. I see +50 on the gloves and +9 on a ring and that's it. I don't know what your currency stash is like but hop on poe.trade and search for the most life you can get on gear for under 1 alch (you can limit the max price about half way down the page). If you get +40 life on avg across your gear you'll go a long way to living a bit longer. As you are planning on using MoM, getting +mana helps as well. Resists are a bonus too.

Also, your damage is caused by 2 x RF totems and you have Ancestral Bond. So why the 2H Mace? Your weapon does zero dmaage, so go full defence with an eye on boosting your totems. Switch up to a good shield (with +life and +mana, if you can) and a good elemental sceptre (preferably one with %burning damage).

You should be looking to get new gear roughly every 10-20 levels depending on rolls.

Perhaps switch up a Quicksilver flask for a Basalt or other defensive flask if you need the extra on demand defence.

Moving forward once you get the MoM node, maybe head to the scion life wheel. Also, try and 4 link your RF totem (you need 2B-2R so a good Armour/ES base works well). Maybe look into using the new Herald of Ash gem too as I think it gets %more burn damage which increases with gem level.
