I'm having this problem as well. I didn't notice it until I built a stupid laggy build.
It works fine on my laptop, but my desktop crashes instead. I've lost a lot of items because of this now. i7-6700 3.4GHz 32G ram Windows 10 GTX-1080 PoE installed on SSD All drivers up to date Please fix, this is getting annoying. |

I noticed similar issue with dynamic resolution this week, before that time it was working okay. In my case there are two possible scenarios why this stop work: 1) LAST PATH After latest path I noticed DX11 crashes combined with graphical glitches. On top of that in some cases game was forcing resultion change to very weird value like 1631p oO. 2) DRIVERS UPDATE To fix issues described in point 1 I made drivers update. After that game was playable , but dynamic resolution stop working.
