High Templar Avarius
Pretty much a complete dead end to the game as I cannot beat him even as a Level 54 ranger, my character gets destroyed by almost all of his attacks
terribly unbalanced. no i don't care to "git gud" as the balance is fucked to begin with |

"I just beat him deathless while taking almost no damage on a mid-40s cleave Juggernaut with mediocre attack speed and +10% run speed. Jugg or not, though, my character couldn't bathe in any of his attacks because he just hits too hard, so avoidance was key. Also, nobody who saw me play would confuse me with a top player. Take a look at youtube fights with a Ranger that has a similar build to yours and you'll probably pick up some pointers that allow you to take him out and take little to no damage while doing it. Still, the steep learning curve in POE isn't everybody's cup of tea and hopefully your other gaming experiences go better if you decide that POE causes too much frustration to bother with it. Now that prestige classes will finally leave lab in 4.0, will GGG get it right this time or will they find new ways to repeat old mistakes? " I can bet it's "1k ranger". 1k hp, 1k dps at level 54. Because even clunky SSF shadow caster can kill Avarius\Innocence deathless. And not even at level 50+, but earlier. Not to mention that now, Avarius (Act5) is a complete joke (for a "boss"), while Innocence require just a little bit of understanding the fight&mechanics, A LITTLE BIT OF. Remember, suffering is convenient.
That is why many people prefer it. Happiness requires effort. |

He is fucking easy.

No not really, as he says "I am" and he is already shooting. So how are you suppose to predict what he does if he is already in motion before it completes what he is about to do.

I use Cyclone to change location.

not EVERY of his attacks is telegraphed! I got oneshotted in HC because he decided to dash across the room + instantly say "I am your good!", which means he hit me with his full huge fireorb, the big ball, in the face. Not the multiple small once you can avoid/doge, when the big ball splits in to fragments
There was simply no reaction time. Just "warp!" and "burn". You cant survice this. When he has a bad day and you are at the wrong place at the rong time, you are toast. Kill him as fast as possible. Offense is the best defense in this case. regards Arkon |
