Skype, Steam and other cause a back to Window

Yesterday, i played on Path of Exile in Harcore League, when we call me on Skype. Tadam, Back to Window...
The call stop, back to Window... I'm not dead (not now), cause i was in town... But it's exasperating...
After close Skype and go on Mumble, i was in the 3e lvl for go to kill the final boss of Act III, and... BAKC TO WINDOW... Steam informe me the game of the Week-end is now not free...
FUCK my life, i back on the game very fast, but to late, i'm dead...

I don't want res my character, i'm dead, i'm dead, but on D3, LoL, DotA, WoW and all the game i know, there are not back to window...

Do you get this problem in PoE because the resolution for the full screen game is different from your desktop's resolution?

Until we get a fix for this behavior, you can circumvent the problem by either disabling popup notifications from steam and skype etc, or you can make PoE "Borderless Fullscreen" mode. That should prevent the window from resizing when it loses focus.

Hello, I understand your frustration. These annoying things that occur are not from the PoE client side, but the software you are running (skype & steam in this case). For example, if you change your status on skype to "busy" it won't minimize and open skype.

With steam it's in the settings: steam/view dropdown menu -> settings ->Interface -> Uncheck "Notify me about additions or changes to my games, new releases, and upcoming releases."


However, they can apply a fix to the PoE client that this will prevented, but right now, it's not the problem from PoE.

It happends to Diablo 3 and other games as well.

The resolution of my game is the same than my screen resolution (1600*900).
I change my fullscreen for window screen, and i change my skype to Busy.

it also happens when a steam group announcement popup and when geforce exp announces an ew update,

pity cuz i actually like to have thhose on on purpose

isnt there a way to prioritize poe as a front app
