essence drain with perfect agony?

would a build with medium crit chance (around 30%) and good crit multi (around 300%) work well for an essence drain build by using the perfect agony node?
essence drain's hit dmg is not so important to me but the debuff dmg is.
when i skill perfect agony i dont see a decrease in the dot chaos dmg.

btw i forgot to mention that i have poison linked, so that's the actual ailment dmg.

what do you guys think?
