Same problem here. Baseline latency 40-50ms with frequent spikes to 300. Playing melee with predictive mode gave me lots of whiffing and shifting character position. Whirling blades is difficult to use due to desync. On Auto or Lockstep I have frequent short freezes that correlate with the spikes.

No problems with internet or other games. Never had this problem in the year before 3.0.

Bumping to confirm getting almost exactly as described here. Lockstep is unplayable, predictive is like walking through mud in a time storm.
Having exactly the same issues. Release day (of 3.0) it was 100% fine, but now it's unplayable + a lot of disconnects when trying to log in/get through character select/load map.

It's getting better for DC, but still showing packet loss on same servers as other users.

This is affecting me as well. When it is playable, it feels unresponsive. Most of the time is unplayable. 1000+ MS spikes.
Every day around 20:00 - 23:00, +/- a few hours, the same problem with strange 1000 ms spikes. But not since 3.0, i have the problem much longer. Frankfurt btw.
Same here on DC server, I have to log out (that is exit the game because even logging out doesn't work) of fights every 15-20 minutes or so because my character just stands there while I can't use potions or do anything but watch myself die.

I just don't understand why more people aren't complaining about this. Consistent lag spikes in an ARPG make for a pretty poor experience. Maybe it's only specific gateways or areas that are getting these spikes? As stated before this was never an issue pre 3.0 so I can only assume it's the heavier traffic on their servers.

Is it possible it's part of the client upgrade? For example, on my system it is now conspicuously a 64 bit client. And, ofc, Friday morning it was fine, normal. After Oriath update, can barely zone in, everything's King's Quest-looking (oh but turn off dynamic resolution...) and lag like this: click -- three to five seconds -- action. It is unplayable.

It breaks my heart to log in just to talk to my friends and see their progress and wish them well as though from a hospital bed. This is assuming the client doesn't hang indefinitely trying to zone into Lioneye's. And forget about zoning into Oriath (standard higher lvl characters apparently go there) I've never seen it. I guess I can go watch someone's YouTube or Twitch and then I'll know what Oriath looks like.

I'm sad. I want Friday morning back.

That's all I want.
