Unable to change Priority of client.exe from normal

No matter what I cannot change the prioty of client.exe (path of exile) in my task manager from Normal.

It should be on Realtime when its in Full screen Mode, or for that matter the Adminimistrator should be able to change the process priotity to whatever you want.

I have full permissions

I am the administtrator

But I cannot change the settings to anything other than "normal"

Can anyone else please load task manager (ctrl + alt + del) go to processes while poe is running and its called client.exe

Right click on it and go to Set Priority and see if you are able to change it from Normal to anything else higher.

Ive tried everything this definately should not be happening

Im thinking they have hardcoded a throttle into the game to run restricted for an unknown reason.

Please can anyone else confirm
The process runs with the default security token. As an administrator there is nothing preventing you from setting it's priority.

More importantly, elevating the game to a real time priority class is going to exacerbate any performance issues you may be having -- apart from the obvious preemption of dependent services rendering this futile, the game spends most of its time spinning and thus it's going to really have an even greater negative impact.

Yes as an administrator normally for any process there is nothing preventing you from changing its setting, but with this process only there is something preventing it, even with Full permissions set. Every other process behaves as it should except client.exe

Please as i said try it yourself and you will see what i mean.
bump
It's a bit redundant, but yes, I can successfully modify the process's priority via taskmgr.
