well, after 2 weeks of some playtime im picking up the necro.
A lot of poe content is pretty much garbo, imo, so I prefer to pay a necro. Oh and btw, for anyone who played a lot of necro in d2.... the d3 version is even better peace out, have fun in 3.0 YES I support the game, NO I don't agree with many GGG decisions Lab still sucks balls. I have to admit I'm getting a lot of junk in POE. The excitement when I see a unique drop, then the disappointment when I examine it is frustrating. But, in D3 most of those drops are junk too, just more of them to disappoint one even further. I still prefer PoE over D3. My bro was my D3 gaming buddy, I got him hooked on the first Diablo in the 90's, but since he passed away, it's hard for me to even play anymore. Funny, I tried to get him to play PoE, but he wouldn't. Said he had too much time invested to go to something else. Play what gives you the most joy.

POE is free... What makes you have to pick one over the other? Just grab the necro then when you get bored switch for POE?

" Sorry to hear that. I have over 1k hours clocked in D3. I do think POE is slightly superior due to the dev direction and the volume of content and releases GGG pumps out. D3, however, has smoother "funner" gameplay at times. POE is pretty clunky. |

it is highly unlikely that anything in d3 is better than its d2 equivalent

I was in the closed beta for the d3 necro dlc. Corpse explosion is based on base weapon deeps and has nothing to do with the life of the corpse. Sad.
