BF Assassin viablity in 3.0?
I'm new player, well I played closed beta back in the days and I'm ashamed I haven't tried this game since than. Played last week, really addictive, really liked it.
One thing is for sure, game is huge, takes a lot of time to grab advances tactics, like it very much. So many things to do. Just wanted to ask you guys is Assassin Blade Flurry with poison (or any other variation) still viable in 3.0. Wouldnt go CI route for my first high level char. Don't have so much spare time (kid, job, rl) to build billions of characters and wouldnt wanna screw up build and than start over. So in few hours should i go Shadow Assassin route, always played rogue or some safer char build. Any starting tip, build tip, gear tip is more than welcomed... blade flurry should still work
but forget the poison part they gutted it unless you invest super heavily into it I dont see any any key!

EHP is too low personally I wouldn't do it and the DPS was nerfed pretty severely.

Try it and report back. People who think that "experts" here can answer questions like that now are fooling themselves. It's a whole new environment and a whole new meaning for the word "viable".
Everyone is going to have to slow down. Don't compare what you're doing in 3.0 to what you could do in 2.6. |

Blade Flurry Assassin took heavy advantage of double dipping so it won't feel as insane as 2.6, but if you want a comfortable speed I'd say either Pathfinder or Raider would be your best options. Assassin BF should still be perfectly viable though.
