minion regen support (for leveling purposes)

I'd almost say that some sort of diminishing returns on the summoning gem itself as the gem levels would be good for at least zombies and definitely spectres til lvl 50ish. Give a Regen that goes down per level until it is naturally 0 as you supposedly would be getting the passive nodes and gems to help your zombies and spectres not die on impact.

that seems needlessly complicated . if you want implicit regen .. just to deal with attrition why not have a 1% base life regen on all minions? 1% is pretty much nothing and will naturally become less relevant as you get more sources of replenishment

that being said i feel a more interesting idea would be to make changes to the rejuvenation totem.

minions at-least have a use in end game . dubious as some may very well be. rejuvenation totem pretty much stops being useful the moment you fill out your base minion nodes and put your zombies in a +2 helm.

I would very much like to see some changes there.


for example

make rejuvenation totem an int/str gem rather than pure str gem.
then give it some sort of secondary effect niche effect that wont be useful to all but is unique


for example say the rejuvenation totem reduces damage from dots for anything under its effect.
