I found a Mirror of Kalandra, what should I do?

So I found this a loooong time ago, that was before my first chaos (20 hrs into the game or something like that) and by that time I had no idea of its value. Well truth be told I still don't know, acording to poe.trade it's arround 160 ex but I'm not sure if I should trust that.


Should I sell or use it? If sold, at what price? I guess there are threads about this but I could't find them (its 2 am, give me a break).

PS: Did I post this in the right forum section?

It's on standart, soooooo.... if you play standart, just sell and grab those 160ex for build, you can play with till lvl95+

Or just leave in stash. As I do, my std stash are full of nice stuff from past :)

Have some kind of epic contest and give it away. You've made it this long in PoE without cashing it in for its item value.

The prices on poe.trade are set by the market, so generally they are reasonably reliable as to what someone is willing to pay for them - if they were worth significantly more than what they're listed for someone would buy that item. The only thing to watch out for is people doing price-fixing, so if there are many of the same item listed by the same 1-3 people for measurably lower than the next best offer then ignore the low prices.

For currency, I usually look at the values people quote for both direction (in this case Exalts -> Mirror and Mirror -> Exalts) and pick a spot to sell currency based on how much of a hurry I'm in.


As far as what you should do with the Mirror, it really depends on what the rest of your Standard stash looks like and what you want to play. If you have 50-100 exalts lying around and plenty of other gear, it's potentially worth it to pick your favorite type of gear and pay a Mirror service to copy an god-tier item. But keep in mind that items get exponentially more expensive the closer they are to perfect, so while a perfectly rolled 450 dps Crit dagger is amazing, that's only one item, whereas you can buy 2-3 entire sets of gear that's 95% optimal for the same cost. So if you simply want currency to have the flexibility to play multiple different builds in the end-game then best to just sell the mirror.
