League Stones, - I know this has had to have been asked before

but anyone know what if they will carry over to Standard or just be fodder once the league is over. I stopped playing back in 2013 and just returned unsure how they do things concerning expired leagues. I tried searching but search brought up mostly trade shops.

They won't be usable in Standard, though they won't disappear either and there's some chance they'll make some way to use them again in the future.

What happens to league mechanics is entirely case by case, just FYI. Plenty of them are now part of the core game, some show up in other ways, some more or less never get seen again.

I don't know the answer, but I'm working under the assumption that League Stones and Perandus coins will transfer but not be usable in perm. In other words, use it or lose it.

After the Perandus League the coins transferred but you couldn't do anything with them. I'm assuming stones will be the same. I suicided a stone to SC and there is no tab to put the stones.

I feel like this entire league was a waste of time as far as coins. I got absolutely nothing from Cadiro except some junk I bought just to use coins. Mostly I can't even find him to buy junk or I'd buy more of it.

Thanks, I figured as much. I am really hoping that they incorporate some of the legacy league into the perm game. Maybe lower the drop rates some it's a good way for peeps to see what the past leagues were all about.

Guess I should have researched before I got that Divination tab .. I just logged into standard and it's blank :/ or maybe that is because I haven't played those toons in 4 years and need to unlock them.

As far as I know coins are NOT useless in perm leagues.

Cadiro coins can be used in Zana-generated Perandus league maps, if/when Zana gets Perandus as a league modifier. They're not useless in Standard.

Legacy/leaguestones have been confirmed to not be part of the core game, however. GGG wants to move forward, not backwards, and frankly Legacy is too lucrative for a lot of reasons. Having access to the entire history of the game, including things GGG never intended for us to have access to again, is awesome but also undermines a lot of their balancing efforts over the years.

They may do something with a Leaguestone-like system in the future, but for now? Expect your leaguestones to be trophies of Legacy and maybe, once in a very great while, be useful for some sort of event. Heh...maybe Zana will have a 'Legacy' mod she can get that lets you drop/use leaguestones! Because REDUNDANCY!
