Dummy for DPS view

it wouldn't be too hard, they have most systems in place. and with 3.0 there's actually several new dummy models that look great.
create a non-attacking enemy of X level that doesn't move and never truly dies. the only new system is damage numbers (one way or another). they said they tried it while testing long ago, so it can obviously be done (and probably easily). simplified: - 3 dummies, 1) easy (level 30, 0 res) 50,000 points 2) medium (level 60, 50 res) 200,000 points 3) hard (level 90, 75 res) 350,000 points (make them expensive so you can't easily get 82972 dummies in your HO) - floating damage numbers on hit - it can 'die' but never dies (once life is <=0, set to max life), that way you get charges. this won't show your DPS but will show your real hits. which you can then do the basic math yourself. rawr. fear me.

If you want you real dps, just use Path of Building.
Dummy would be nice, but a bit unrealistic. |

do you mean "unrealistic that we'll ever get it"? yes, probably true. or "unrealistic damage number calculation"?
But this is the Suggestions forum. Where hopes are heard and dreams are crushed. and yes, I use POB. it's pretty accurate. but it can easily be off by +/- 10% or (if not more). it's a good guestimate at best. "I'll be around 50k, give or take 10k". even importing a character doesn't always give accurate damage or even life/mana/es. just good estimates. rawr. fear me. " PoB not always shows your real damage. For example, Whispering Ice with fire Ray (don't remember the right name of gem) or Spectral Throw gem with Action and Wisdom Claws. Also in the last version of PoB I didn't find Bleeding. Tell us, why the simple dummy is unrelistic? |
