Cloak of Defiance in 3.0

Hey everyone, I'm currently playing Scorching Ray MoM Scion in Turmoil, and Cloak of Defiance dropped for me today.

So I was wondering if a MoM meta happens in 3.0, could Cloak of Defiance see some play in the future. Since they added 3 points behind the MoM talent that are very strong, let's assume that the only way the Cloak was worth it is if we're playing a class on the opposite side of the tree. And that we're using the legacy version (which is really cheap right now).
With that being said, Trickster is the first thing that came to my mind. Damage over time, recovery on kill, and bunch of mana.

Tree would go through shadow, ranger and a bit of duelist, focusing on life, mana, damage over time, jewels, flask nodes (recovery, charges) and both Acrobatics.

Some unpopular flask options could be Lavianga's Spirit and Forbidden Taste. I'm using Forbidden Taste right now and I like it.

Thoughts? Any people who are trying out that cloak now, or played with recently?
