Hi man, can u make a tree for Frost blade setup and gem setup in PoB? My calculation dps for frost blade aroung 500k only, but its wrong coz im 1st time in pob/ how big is the difference between frost and flurry? Still can't decide what I want, i think raider is a balance of map clearing speed and survivability, but dont want play flurry/

Updated pastebin and stats section.
Updated tree with 2 new notables that we pick up, Twin Terror's and Thick Skin. I don't remember now what other points were removed to get it, but overall its an upgrade. "I would use something like this: https://pastebin.com/0tVg8zaE Blade Flurry has significantly higher single target damage, but clearspeed is superior with Frost Blades :) Since coloring armour for Frost Blades is hard on Evasion armour, you'd need something like Belly of the Beast or Lightning Coil. Shaper's Touch is also BiS if you count bonuses compared to its price, but, a rare will do just fine if you can't get it at the moment. I am very worried about damage to the bosses. And i dont like flurry coz play it as howa on breach. I'm sick of it so far. I will try something between u build, mathil frost blade and Sidefx build. Anyway, Ty 4 build and support.

PSA to all following this build:
According to Path of Building, difference between a 250 dps Wasp Nest and 270 dps Touch of Anquish is very small, depending on gear, but it may vary from 0% to 10% difference (in favour of ToA). Difference is price, however, is massive - 1-2c for decent roll Wasp's Nest, vs 70c for cheapest Touch of Anquish. Hello,
First off, I like this build a lot. Its very similar to some blade flurry builds like the muarader one that can get dps up too 16mil. I did mimic the same build as you have described, but instead of claws I switched over to swords. I noticed they had relatively similar damage potentials, I just was feeling swords. I do have one curious question that I haven't figured out with path of building... Why not go with physical to lightning damage. The physical to cold on the skill tree is 40, then 15 from herald of Ash then with the gem hatred out of it, you can swap in a new pair of gloves. I guess I am just confused because it appears that this build has over 100% of physical to cold damage conversion. If it goes over 100% what is there left to be converted? Unless it doesn't work that way, which it probably doesn't work that way... Also, have you ever used queen of the forest with this build to run Uber? If so how was the speed? |
