Why no option for trading Cosmetics?

i know, ggg needs money but in csgo or lol poeple buy boxes and skins even with the option to trade them. :( would love to get my "arcane book totems" and whatever to people who like that stuff.

now with the new skinsystem would be the best date for something like that.
and @ggg we all know how your heart beats, you can keep the system realy cheap: just give us a trade window for skins only, so we can rip each other on all that vintage stuff.

Because people would abuse it and in the end GGG would make less profit. For instance someone quits the game and decides to sell both his MTX and account for real money. While this is against the rules, where would you buy your desired MTX from? The pricey GGG or some cheap as fuck RMT website? We all know how this would end and I am glad it is not an option.

You also make it sound like you want to do this solely to get exclusive mtx off of people who bought supporter packs when available/ managed to get challenges done. Literally rmt if you are handing over bought mtx for those things in a sense, even worse is that it would be easy target to set up a back channel: "hey, trade a weta pet and 20 ex for your arcane chest"

This would result in real money trading.

I could start a league two weeks late, buy some points with 20e real life money and trade that for all the build enabling items I need without having to farm or level up from scratch.

but isnt this "abuse option" the same we have at the moment via crossleaguetrades?

i get the argument of you people, it is not fair for the competetive ones that you could buy a tiger and trade it for fireworks and get some free ex afterwards :( but this unfine stuff happens allready, are you sure that this "cosmetic-trade-thing" would give it a new quality?

MTX is fine the way it is... others have mentioned RMT and I guess I get that. Another thing I'd add is league specific MTX. You work for 36 challenges to get whatever new MTX GGG offers. Trading would make challenges sort of pointless, as you can just "trade" for the MTX in exalts or whatever.
