Pre-3.0 Leveling Pace is Perfect - How will 3.0 Pan Out?

So I was leap-frog leveling a Flameblast-totem inquisitor and an SRS Necromancer last night, and thinking how perfect is the leveling pace of 2.6.

Notably, even if you stop a couple of times along the way, or repeat a zone or two (need to do Cruel Ledge with those Talisman and Perandus stones before outleveling them!), a toon gets to the end of the Merciless Crystal Mines with JUST the right level to either move on to kill Malachai, or start mapping, or run Dried Lake over and over until 80, whatever you like.

I just wanted to comment on how character leveling seems to be balanced ideally at present.

Now, with the Beta being shuffled out to us in parts, I am curious as to how this perfect leveling curve will translate to 3.0. Which, I suppose, is the point of Beta testing. Did we all kill the Spider at around level 58 or so? Is this ideal in the leveling curve for the end of Act VII?
