" MoM has the usual effect once you run out of ES. No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

MoM makes some sense if you have a lot of life, but just a little ES. It's harder to recommend or use if you have roughly equal Life and ES, as you have already lost a lot of your effective life by the time it kicks in.

For hybrid builds the story can also be told rather the other way round. You can use EB+MoM to actually distribute damage between Life and ES pool. Thus you can use both defenses at once.
