Question about shaping a map

If I shaped a Strand tier 6 map to tier 11 using a shapers orb, what happens if I now buy a Strand tier 6 map? Will I receive it as shaped tier 11?

Nothing happens other than the T6 no longer dropping in the normal manner. Especially no "magical" upgrade of maps from T6 to T11. T11 Strand and T6 Strand are different maps. You can have and use/run both.

Edit: The T11 Strand will start dropping as one of the T11 maps - if that part was unclear too.
