(2.6) Raider; life based/CoC-Discharge/cospri's malice/ 250k dmg with full charges

HELLO!

Disclaimer:
Spoiler

This build is a work-in-progress and comments would not only be appreciated but also very helpful. Keep the trolling to a minimum and try to be nice!

Goal+Summary

Spoiler

-->Goal: Life based Cast on critical building using Cospri's Malice.

*Attack: Cyclone
**Why: movement skill
*Spell: Discharge
**Why: Crit chance+damage output

Raider Explanation:
The Raider was chosen for this build due to its ascendancy. It is the only class and option(beside 1 item) within the current state of the game that can generate Frenzy Charges prior to killing an enemy; which, is needed for boss runs

Life explanation:
Life was chosen for this build due to upcoming and impending changes to Energy Shield. Also, I just like to go against the status quo of using Energy shield.

Disclaimer:
cyclone crit rate is relatively low with this build... sitting around 60-65%. I partially did this on purpose, in order to allow charges to generate. Realistically, it could be enhanced by jewels or different passive allocations... depends really on your preference...

You have 5 jewel sockets as well.

1 jewelry slot should be used for either brute force solution or fertile mind to increase intelligence to use cospri's

Path of Building Possibilities:
Overview off possible damage:
Chest Proc:
-->Possible damage with full: endurance/frenzy/power charges, total damage output is 250k dps for
discharge
Cospri's Proc:
185K with full charges

Variant:
use of Righteous fire adds approximately 30k damage over time

It doesn't work like you think it does, you can't dual wield cospri. Cyclone only hits with 1 weapon at time so only 1 discharge can proc, your attack speed isn't fast enough to trigger the second discharge before the first 1 is off cd.

Some of your passives don't work with discharge, just because cospri is a weapon it doesn't mean weapon elemental damage will buff your discharge. Same thing for abyssus, it doesn't work on Discharge, you also skip the passives that give you the most dmg boost for the least amount of points (Fatal Blade).

You support gems are also all fucked up, for example cold pen will give you less dmg than many other support gems, i can't see a single reason to use it. You also use power charge on critical on the chest when you would get more charges by having a fire storm there instead, and many other things like this.

You have a ton of items with wed, and they don't work on discharge, you are using 40% wed items to gain 5k dps on cyclone.

You take weird passives that don't work at all, like the one that converts phys dmg to cold, cospri has in the tool tip ''deals no phys dmg'', you can see that when you pick the passive nodes the dmg of discharge only goes up by a single thousand from the cold dmg portion, that's 3 points for 1k dmg, you could just take any random dmg node near by and it would increased your dmg more.

I'm sure it will be great when finished, just keep working on it, like you said it's not a finished product, it's bound to have some problems

Thank you for answering... I wasn't sure if anyone would.

first off, is there a guide on discharge? you seem like you have done your research and I would not have thought about that with the attack speed not triggering it off of Cooldown.

Good eye on the Abysuss, I honestly have looked at it a 100 times and now just noticed it says for melee attacks (embarrassing).

I am curious what you are talking about with the firestorm. I dont imagine that firestorm would generate power charges? or is it that it would be procing romira's banquet ring?

as for the weapon elemental damage comment. I am so curious about this. So primeval force wouldn't buff the damage of discharge?

I spent a good 50 hours on working out all the tricks of discharge builds, i got interested in it just recently, i was able to make a discharge build work for all content with 60c. About firestorm, there is a chest piece that will generate power charges on each crit you do, i thought you were using that.
