Voidwalkers/Phasing and cosmetic armor.

Hey there.

So, I've finaly decided to buy a supporter pack, and I want to buy an armor pack for my current and onward characters with those points. Now I'm playing as a spark build using Voidwalkers, and it gives a pretty cool visual transparency after a kill (I'm not even sure if it's just phasing or phasing specifically from boots).

The thing is I don't want this effect with my new armor. Will it still work? Is there any way, besides obviously dropping voidwalkers, to remove the effect?

And lastly, if there is no way to get rid of the effect - maybe someone knows any armor that looks cool while under this thing?
