Need help with my Character

Hi guys, i need some help with my champion. I don't know where i went bad as i cant farm any bosses or higher than 72 level maps. I chose earthquake as my first ability then changed to ice crash as i have better dps in ice crash. Can you guys tell me what i need to change or whether the skill tree itself has been wrongly done.

I'd say drop those melee damage nodes going into the jewel slot at the bottom of the tree, and head up to Bloody Bludgeon right above them. Your tree is also saying that you have no jewels on, despite having jewel slots, so get some useful jewels if you have the slots for them.

I'd say grab Sentinel, as that's just more help to your mitigation (and the resistances on that node are pretty sweet). Could grab disemboweling as well, after getting Sentinel, you could drop a couple of the resistance nodes by Diamond Skin to help stretch your points a bit better.

Also, that topaz ring is kind of meh, probably want to look at replacing that with something that has some added phys and +life rolls. Also, even cheap mastercrafts on your gear are better than none at all ^_^

^Also the gold ring is not that good, with the gear you linked the Ev on it is kinda pointless; get one with added flat phys or life (and craft the other).

And are you really igniting a lot? Otherwise other unique/rare boots are better than yours...

You have wasted lots of points on your passive tree. You should just take the big nodes and move on. Don´t bother with 10str, 10% melee damage and such.
You should have maxed resistances from the gear.
I would suggest to you get the path of building planner and try to figure out smth better (you can just import your passive tree there, set up stuff and see the results).

You can´t leech life and mana.
Hematophagy works only with physical damage (ice crash won´t leech) so stick to earth quake or take Vitality void passive and/or blasphemy warlords mark.

Your items are lacking flat life roll (except body)
You can craft life roll on your helm by using Haku´s crafting bench.

Get better amulet and rings (check http://poe.trade/)
LF 60+ total resists with 60+life + @ (min/max damage, elemental damage)
Boots - any rare with 20+ movement speed 50+life 60+ resists
You need to have your resistances capped at 75 in merciless (135 all in hideout, except chaos which is hard to get) and try to aim for 5k++ life as minimum

Your flask setup is meh.
Flasks are important part of any build.

You should have:
1-2 damage flasks such as http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Lion%27s_Roar and/or http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Atziri%27s_Promise

1-2 life divine flask (instant leech)
1* Granite or basalt
1* stibnite
Good mods are anti bleed, freeze, curses, shock

Guess what guys, i tried updating my character following your instructions and some builds online, its so much better now. Guess ill start from scratch once 3.0 gets updated.

You can still improve your passive tree (do you have any respec points left?).
First of all take Resolute technique it gives you nice damage boost.
Why did you remove leech from Hematophagy? You are using EQ now so stick to it (or vitality void). Take all sockets near the path (you can get pretty nice stats on them).
