What does that screen name mean?

A fun topic. Only answer if you don't care, of course.

I have certain people I'm curious about. Some others are obvious.

Bars = are you in jail? I don't think so from what you post. Maybe it means something in your language?

鬼殺し = what does this mean?

The Reporter = are you in journalism?

SpanishMonarch = which one? Any?

DeadPeng = is there a live version?

Cipher nemo = one of my favorites. Are you interested in cryptography as well as marine biology?

Namcap = really a comment here. This always makes me think of the company Namco. Mappy!

Censored.

Pacman was made by Namco, so I suppose that makes sense :p

I used to have a childhood best friend. He eventually disappeared and lived in seclusion as a hermit. He took the name of 'Alivepeng'. That was long time ago.

bars = snow leopard. This has been my nickname in various games for almost 20 years now. It's my spirit animal.

I'm a bit surprised you don't know that, it's the same word in Russian and you do have Russian roots as far as I know? Isn't Kolyaboo derived from Kolya, the diminutive of Nikolay?

@Aim_deep: I've always viewed it as a particularly hilarious porn name XD
You have to be realistic about these things.

My screen name isn't particularly interesting or significant. I lived in Spain (Barcelona), had some cursory coursework on the history of the Spanish empire, state building, democratization process, etc. So somehow I ended up with spanishmonarch.. no real rhyme or reason. :D

Yep my name is backwards Pacman. Grew up on the game, loved it, when I started playing Everquest some 20 years ago, Pacman was already used so I used Namcap and kept it throughout most games/online usernames for everything since. Even in POE I've probably deleted and recreated Namcap 20 times by now.

Curious what Kolyaboo comes from since any time I see "Boo" anywhere I think of the ghosts in Mario but now that Bars says it might be a diminutive, I have a feeling it's completely unrelated.
鬼殺し thanks for telling me! I no longer have to wonder.

Bars, you are right, that is a head slapper. Mind you my Russian is very rusty now due to non-use but I am retarded when it comes to making connections between Roman letters to Cyrillic and vice versa. Meaning I look at a word in Russian that I know perfectly, transliterated in English, and cannot see it. Now I can't un-see your name as (panther? more like but with Снежный, yeah snow leapard).

Spanish Monarch, I love history of Spain. Don't know it as well as English, Russian, or French, but it's all good.

Namcap, I was close! LOL

My name is dull. I have used it for years online. What Bars says about Kolya is correct, it is diminutive for Nikolay, but boo was a cat we had in college that was awesome. His nickname was boo or boocat.

Edited to add: Forgot someone. I'm with Bars. Always thought Aim was a pervert.
