Macro/Currency count authorization

Hi all !
I saw on a vids someone that had a program, or i don't know what it is called, that count the value of currency that he picks up ! In video, it looks like this ( it's a compilation, sorry, if bad timed, it's Jdance41 clip at 2:40)

I read on a 2 years old post that this was forbidden, but things might have changed ! And I'm not even sure that this thing in particular is forbidden ! Anyway, if anyone can help me to decide wether or not i can use it (and how to install it if yes !), that'd be very cool !
