why some gem stop work?

hello exiles.

I am play this game for 1 mount ago.

i dont understand why some skill gem stop work when i change my Armour or weapons, I have the enough requirement to use it.

someone pls explain me this.

the example is for the viper strike and vaal reave, i use it, and now dont work.

There's not a lot of information to go on here. A screenshot could help a lot.

Some things to remember;

• Both of those skills only work with Daggers, Claws & 1H swords.
• In addition to having the requirements for the skill gem, you must have the requirements for whatever gear the gem is inside. For example, if your character has 52 Strength, their boots require 48 Strength, then they replace a weapon which had +13 Strength with one that has +4 Strength, they will no longer meet the requirements for those boots, and the boots will no longer count as being equipped. Any skill gems in them won't work. The boots will be in the equipment slot, but will turn red.
