Vaal side areas

When doing a repetitive task, like looking for a vaal side area, it is vital to have secondary objectives that produce a valued byproduct. I use league stones. Other people use chaos orbs or regrets or something. Something to show progress... even if that progress is ephemeral.

Everyone has something that they value or they wouldn't be playing.

I tried aquaducts... got a limited stone.

what you talking about i got level less stone there.

Might be on the cusp where blue mobs drop one thing and whites drop another then. I definitely got a restricted stone.

Dang it... looks like I was getting them in Dried lake too. Time to sort my tab. Bah.

i dont think that is the case as i got unrestricted stone from other areas than dried lake like catacombs.
and same goes for aqueducts

Can run hidden vaal pathways prophecy. Actually running full prophecies at all times is pretty good.

That makes sense, but I would consider time saved by doing a faster zone that spawns more side areas against getting slightly more usable stones for the future. I think you can get unrestricted stones from magic monsters in lake and rare monsters from aqueducts. I'm assuming you're just trying to clear a prophecy, otherwise I would suggest vaaling maps that have multiple bosses if you're looking for sacrifice pieces.
