I fixed it:

The CoC is without a doubt the most boring playstyle ever. Good thing they nerfed it.

I fondly remember my old CoC char with all the opie op stuff.

97% light resist
103% fire resist
93% cold resist
lvl 21 AA reducing 246 physical incomming damage per hit (old AA)
and 40% lightning coil combined with old CWDT end/IC set-up

That thing could blast true every map not giving a fuck about map modifiers except blood magic.

The only char ever where i actually reduced the overall amount of life because it was reducing so much incomming damage that it was overkill.

It was fun, but well, nothing could kill me so they made the right call.

am I missing something with that setup? With Controlled Destruction, BV crit goes to 0%, so the stacking crit from the weapon is just 0(3*level)=0%? or does the 3%/level stack additive and not multiplicative?

It's additive with the -100%. He's fine. "Reduced" is just negative "increased". You're thinking of "less" which is negative "more".

I figured I'd had to be interpreting it wrong, thanks for the info.

Edit: I should have just wiki'd it myself, since it says it can't lower it below 5%, so it just removes any inc crit modifiers on the spell itself, but since the weapon is global crit, it isn't effected, am I interpreting this right? Some mechanics and interactions still confuse me, I apologize.

Old CoC was fun and pretty outstanding compared to what other arpg's had to offer. Same with Mjölner and Scold's. Honestly, I don't even buy their story with said builds being hard on their servers. With improvements coming left and right they could have found an solution for that. Those builds were probably gutted for the sake of the xbox release because let us be honest here, there is no a way something like the old CoC would have ran on it. Pretty sad.

Way over nerfed. You can self cast at about 6-7x a sec pretty easy. Broken down in ms CoC gem shoulda been nerfed to ~.175 ms triggers. The two weapons ~.100 ms since they are only 3 socket.

Oh well thats GGG for ya. Take fun and nerf to uslessnes. CoC is still good farming though. But on bosses weak sauce. Probably like poison will soon be.

I bet we all jump on necros next. This game is starting to piss me off when standing back and letting minions/totems do all your work is best way to play. I mean half the Marauder forum is full of totems. Thats ridiculous. Homie should be face tanking not a summoner.
