Winter Spirit
So a question about Winter Spirit and Weapon Cold Damage. After a quick forum and google search, I've found almost nobody talking about these nodes. I was wondering though, what would probably be the best way to use these two nodes? So far I've tried it on a character I respec'd into a Blade Flurry CwC Bladefall toon, and it seems pretty nice, but I feel like there's great potential here.
Anyone got any nifty ideas on what kind of build I could/should maybe make around this phys to cold conversion? So far, I'm kicking around the idea of maybe an elemental Kinetic Blast, but not for sure yet. Combat is simple. Keep your blood in. Take theirs out. Last bumped on May 5, 2017, 12:40:03 PM

" Ideally with a large pds weapon and in conjunction with other sources of conversion, typically from the base skill ,p2l gem or vinktar. The most common use for this is frostblades with a big pds weapon. Wands typically have poor pds and even mirror level ones will not see that much of a gain from winter spirit unless you were scaling physical damage directly. True physical wanders are exceptionally rare. The vast majority of damage come from projectile damage, spell damage(if CoE), elemental damage, and crit. IGN: Arlianth

cant tell you what is the "best" but Id use it to complete cold conversion of cold skills like frost blades, or Ice shot.. so that you get more freeze duration and damage from WED, cold penetration, etc, potentially scale damage mostly with cold/elemental (instead of phys) so that you gain more from flat added elemental damage, and possibly also scale things like cold snap proliferation on cwdt..
