HP Probook 450 G1 (dual GPU) only using the crap one

Hi all, I've got a pretty decent laptop capable of running POE, but it has a dual GPU in it. And Intel HD 4600 and an AMD Radeon HD 8750M (more than capable of running it better than the Intel one) however through Win7 and recently Win10 I have been unable to utilize the Radeon in ANY way within POE.

(forgive the image spam, these are all examples of failed attempts while proving the GPU DOES exist.

Anyway, I know POE isn't fully optimized, especially for garbage dual GPU setups like this, but as a long time supporter I'd love to see if anyone else has encountered this, or might have a solution.

Any questions let me know!@

CPU-Z validation shows only the Intel GPU too: https://valid.x86.fr/qar0kj

I just googled "HP Probook 450 G1 force gpu" and found this. :)

HP Notebook PCs - Switchable Graphics on Notebooks Configured with Intel and ATI GPUs
Perception is reality.
Wow, through a little tweaking but following the main body of your findings, it WORKS. Performance-wise I can't see much difference, I'm pic_mipped out (texture quality at 5 in the config) and it still runs like garbage on this laptop, but I can tell a substantial difference between the intel and radeon GPUs.

You'd think the specs above would offer better performance, but all in game settings are minimum and it still crashes with heavy activity and experiences the type of slowdown a game too powerful for particular hardware would experience. I know the optimization isn't perfect but it has caused some issues here and there. I'm just glad it can see the more powerful GPU for a change ;)

Either way, I'm going off topic here, but wanted to thank you widardd for your help. I always google but maybe I'm rushing things in my PC anger these days ;) Any additional advice is always appreciated! Thanks POE Community :)
