[3.0] 429k StupidSmile Chaos Flame Totem (Chaos/Stun Immunity + Poison + Culling Strike)

Ok, good news is our dagger now gives 60% fire damage instead of 60% spell damage.
The bad news is our es have been torn apart. So u guys need to make sure to get extra careful if u wanna play this build. Our critical strike chance also seem to get lower a bit.

Flame totem is one of the oldest skill thats been introduced by the game. The combination of totem and spell not only save the user one extra spot for the gem, but also an excellent choice for chaos meta that I am about to show.

MAKE SURE ITS LEGACY (45% CONVERSION)


By combining dual legacy consuming dark dagger with infernal mantle armor, the user not only able to convert 100% fire damage to chaos, but also gain access to cool movement skill like whirling blade.

HOWEVER, due to the usage of unique, the user will suffer a great loss to their energy shield. Infernal mantle only provides a small amount of energy shield while dual wield dagger will cause the user to drop shield instead. So dont say I didnt warn ya.


Since we will be using dual totem, total single target damage would be 429k chaos dps.
For total damage thats been released by the totem 214k x 6 = 1.28M chaos dps.
When supported by auramancer 1M per flame x 6 projectile = 6M chaos dps

For those that may be wondering what kinda player suitable for this build:

# Those that got too much exalt and dont know what else to do with it
# Those like to clear map and boss fast
# Those that like to play alone/in full group of people (lagg free)
# Those that like to avoid direct contact with the boss
# Those that hate to spam skill/spell in order to leech
# Those that like to play totem and enjoy using legendary flame totem
# Those that like to play with pure chaos damage combine with max crit damage
# Those that are looking for a fun and flexible build that can do any map modification
# Those that like to fap a lot and don’t wanna mess up their keyboard (one hand gameplay)

very nice and interesting build! Flame Totem is my favorite skill, I'm a flame totem maniac :)
First time I saw flame totem build based on Energy Shield. I thought I had seen everything about flame totems and I was wrong :) It is nice to see something original and fresh.

You have Insane freaky items but legacy Infernal Mantle have less ES than new one.


Yours boots enchant maybe don't work because You do not kill, your totems do it.

Big fan of the build and am currently in the process of building it myself. I am a relatively new player and I don't know where to put ascendancy points offhand... could you add that?

Give priority to
1st. totem damage
2nd. projectile damage
3rd. damage
4th. chaos damage

also depend on ur gear. Make sure ur critical strike chance above 90%.
U dont need much es as the totem will do all the fighting for u.
So aim 10k es is enough. ^^

Love this. Build can't kill t16, unplayeble at leagues, not easy for noobs. How will use this build if not full content and not budget?

^^its not exactly a hard build to put together on a budget drop empower, +1 gems chest shavs ring etc. flame totem traditionally has been a good budget league starter.

who says it cant kill t16.. ive cleared all atlas already.
If u ar looking for a budget/cheap build then this is not for u.
This is a unique build which differentiate u from the rest of the players.
So easy to play that if only u can afford it. ^^

currently after 3.0 patch, flame totem dps has fallen under 90k (terrible)
plus so hard to maintain high es without sacrificing too much dps.
we cant leech and cant generate endurance charge.
so too risky and not worth the risk.
while i figure how to fix this out, i suggest try to look for some other build meantime
