Vaal Pact with reflect from simultaneous hits.

Hi, I'm playing a Ngamahu's Flame build and I'm having some problems with reflect and I'm not even close to my top end damage yet. I've almost killed myself several times and playing HC that's something I'd really like to avoid.
So instead of completely changing my build or gimping my damage I'm considering going Vaal Pact but I'm wondering if that will actually be a viable solution. When I reach higher levels, reflect from a single projectile won't kill me but a volley certainly will and since Molten Burst projectiles launch and hit at the same time, will it even help? Do I gain life in between hits even though they hit at the same time?

Yeah you do. It goes leech from hit 1, reflect from hit 1, leech from hit 2, reflect from hit 2, leech from hit 3, etc...
