GGG is full of shit

So a few days ago i got hacked by some chinese RMT, at least GGG claimed so.
When i spoke about the lack of security in comparison to decent companies (Lack of authenticator, etc.)
They told me, "Accounts auto-lock when someone from a different IP adress try to log-in, we send an email explaining how to get back your account as well" However, my email was never compromised as i requested all IP's login (requires your cellphone).

So this only explain a few thing;

#1 The patch screw'd my account is GGG is full of shit
#2 They don't have any security at all and is GGG is full of shit


If you "really" do have a auto-lock, perhaps you should make it a pain to re-activate the account like you did asking me for transaction etc.

They most definitely have an auto-lock. My IP is dynamic, so I have to get a get a code from my email on a regular basis to log in, because my IP has changed. You say your email was never compromised because you requested all IP's log in? What? Are you saying that you asked them to allow you to log in regardless of IP? Essentially turning off the auto-lock? That sounds like that is your fault then...

Also, Mythabril makes a good point. The most common way that RMT groups hack accounts to harvest goods is by stealing information from "customers"...

I asked for Microsoft's IP login historic, just to see if any chinese IP tried to log on my email. In fact, they did but failed to do according to microsoft reports.

And yeah, according to haveibeenpwned my password have been compromised 6 times (moneybookers, skrill, etc.)

The point is, GGG security is light year behind blizzard/SquareEnix when it wouldnt be very hard to improve it
