What are my options with this ring?

So I have a steel ring with these rolls

T1 flat energy shield (prefix)
T1 accuracy (suffix)
T1 all resist (suffix)

From what I understand, my only options are 'craft multi mod' and put my preferred rolls on there.. OR to slam it with exalts and pray for the best?

Is there an option where i have more control of the outcome of getting T1 rolls aside from using eternals?



I remember you used to be able to meta craft prefix cannot change and suffix cannot change, then use an essence to get that guaranteed custom affix. Is that not possible anymore?

According to others, essences ignore master mods.
If you master craft something that you really don't want to get, than slam it and replace the master mod after, that is the solution to craft specific item types, but it might not be good enough with rings.

First off, Essences have only existed for 2 leagues prior to this. Second, you have never been able to do that. Essences have ALWAYS ignored Master crafted affixes, since before Essence league even started. There was a Dev Manifesto post about this before that league.

I started poe in the middle of breach league after quitting a month or two after beta testing had finished.

So from what you've said, the safest thing to do would be to multi mod this ring?
