AoE Question

I've played D2 a whole lot over the years and really enjoyed making an AoE amazon that uses bows. Is there anything similar skill-wise to those skills of old: Immolation Arrow, Exploding Arrow & (my favourite) Freezing Arrow.

i saw many vids on y.tube with showed a multi-shot with autohit. think it was successchance ~20% per hit or sth like that.

That sounds so good... I think I might pop when I get to play this game: it just seems so intuitive and crazy-epic. It just surmises everything I love about games like Sacred 2, Titan Quest and all the other unsung heroes of the RPG world!

Sorry but I don't really know the spells you wrote down but the spells I'm currently using with my ranger (lvl 16) is:

Split Arrow: Fires 3 arrows simultaneously in different directions.

Rain of Arrows: Fires a large number of arrows in the air, to land at the target after a short duration.

Detonate Dead: Make a corpse explode and do damage to nearby targets.

Poison Arrow: Fires an arrow which explodes in a cloud of poison. Any who enters the cloud will take damage over time.

And there's plenty of other spells I haven't gotten yet.

It's pretty fun :)

It's based on Explosive Arrow and elemental damage.

That's a pretty nice build actually. Might have to make one of those.

Yes, by combining Lightning Arrow with Lesser Multiple Shot and Pierce support gems, you can destroy large packs of monsters fast even in chaos if you have decent gear and a good skill build to go with it.

The way Lightning Arrow works is that when it hits a monster, it will also hit several monsters around that one monster. Now, if you combine it with Lesser Multiple Shot, which turns a single projectile into three, each of those hits in a tight pack of monsters is going to hit the monsters around them. To finish this off, pierce allows those Lightning Arrow shots to travel through the initially hit monsters, and hit the ones behind them, resulting in every monster getting several Lightning Arrow hits for each arrow you fire.
