Mine detonation area of effect

What does this mean, for traps I'm pretty sure it means how far away the enemy can be to trigger the trap but I dont think there is a range limit for you to detonate mines, as such does this mean an increase of area of effect for the skills it supports? I dont play mines so don't know anything about them.

Dont have a proper answer to your question but vaguely remember that it may be the mine trageting range. Which wouldnt matter at all for mines which dont target - like Fire Nova Mine.

i can confirm u with 100% certainty, that it does NOT affect the aoe of the mineskill itself...so for example fire nova mine doesnt get a bigger explosion radius(where it applies damage).

so my suggestion is, that the "mine detonation radius" is meant for any projectile mine(or directed spell, cascade etc).
in other words, the range in wich a mine can target an enemy and release a projectile(spell) in its direction.

furthermore, playing with fire nova mines(before respeccing mine detonation area) i got more powercharges from "Blast Cascade".
not 100% sure about that, just a feeling.

maybe because firenova mine doesnt actually target, just realeases a plain aoe, so the aoe in wich blast cascade gets triggered is bigger?!?

tried it with blastrain mines, it increases the range mines can target an enemy. with all nodes up it offscreens monster
