Pale court prophecy chains
" That would be a good reward for killing the final boss in merc. There is no other reward for him, and he marks the end of the story. So mapping is the next logical step. May your maps be bountiful, exile

pretty sure the sceptre of god mobs are almost always (if not always) on the first floor

I have definitely found the sceptre of god mobs on not the first floor many times. I also had my suspicions about it being on the first floor only, so i used to try going in through imperial gardens but several times I found it on the waypoint floor and elsewhere too so I stopped that.
Actually once I went in through imperial gardens and a friend waypointed in and killed it on a higher floor and I thought I was done the prophecy... Navali even said the lines for the unbearable whispers prophecy and it said "prophecy complete". When I ported out back to town to get more prophecy from Navali, she gave me the exact same prophecy! Scammed of my chain progress! |

"ok, I stand corrected. not always but most often. in my anecdotal experience, at least, its like 8-9 out of 10 times. |

Yeah the fated uniques are the only ones that are a bit annoying. The others are usually doable in maps or you can get rid of them fast.
But then again most of the fated prophecies need very specific unique bosses which are quick to get to. And having one or two of the "kill rare get unique" prophecies open isn't that bad. Since only a limited amount of prophecies can proc per map, there is no reason to have all 8 slots avaible at all times. |
