Hello everyone, this is my first build guide ever and my first non italian thread on a forum, so dont pay attention to grammatical errors :D.
This thread is still Work in progress and it will be updated every time for news or missed points. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ INTRODUCTION This build is made on purpose for HC players.It is a fusing between the OP icestorm builds and the totems ones.You will be able to stay in the safest situation`s spots and chill all the screen, and ofc dealing a very good amount of damage. safety before all _____________________________________________________________________________________________
Pros
-Very safe and tanky, it is very hard to die if you have a brain and a bit of knowledges -Cheap, as far as your only required item is the whispering ice (1c) -tri curser, here you can choice your favorite setup for your playstyle(see the gem link section for infos) -Atziri viable -Can start the build at level 33(CI INCLUDED!)
Cons
-Not the fastest build ever for mapping -All your gear MUST have INT (see gear section for infos) -No sustain available, you should play all contents correctly ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Skill tree

Level 90 Level 33 (CI starts) Level 50 (dual curse starts) Ascendancy normal: Wicked ward cruel: Profane Bloom merciless: Malediction Bandits normal: kill cruel: kill merciless: kill ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Gear The build is focused on the Whispering Ice, that give us INT in % and spell damage based on our INT. That is the only required unique item. For your gear i really reccomend to find 45+ int on gloves,chest,helmet,boots and rings.For the amulet you will be able to go for 80+ int or if you like to buy a Astramentis. The secondary bonus on all your pieces is Energy Shield.Without a good ES rolls on your items, this build can be a paper build, that means all contents are risky!The third bonuses you will look for are elemental resistences. I prefer to use Rainbowstride boots for more block synergy with the Staff and rumi`s flask, but that`s not required ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Gems and links on the whispeing ice(you just need the 6s): Spell totem - Cold pen - controlled destr - elemental focus - faster casting - conc 4l (5l on the chest when you complete the merciless lab) orb of storm - CoH - temp chain - frostbite - inc. critical strikes 4l defensive setup CwDt - immortal call - vortex - elem prolif 2l flame dash - faster casrting 2l blasphemy - enfeeeble 1l lightning golem 1l discipline ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Levelling guide start with fire trap and freezing pulse untill you can buy firestorm. Link firestorm with spell totem and get another manual cast firestorm. When you are level 33 you can go for the CI tree and starting using the whispering ice gem setup. Start getting all ES items and some INT on rings and amulet. Dont be scared to push ahead, 1k es will be enough for level 33.Look for 2k ES before level 45. 5k before level 60. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Videos

As elementalist you will reach more damage ofc, but it wont be safe as the occultist. " All you need to be safe with this build is positioning. If someone can reach to you in any way before your totems skills , i really like to have some mobility advantages to get back and re-position my char.
