Based Ben Shapiro Thread

Even if I don't agree with everything he says, cause he's an ultra-conservative, I like to listen to his podcasts / talks sometimes, cause:

* he's very principled
* and he's destroying SJWs like a boss, which is always fun

That's what happened to me. He drew me in.

That and the fact that people were so hardcore protesting his events, I had to see why they were up in arms. I couldn't believe people get violently mad over what Ben Shapiro says.

Ben Shapiro is my favorite Jew.

So, I get that he's articulate -- but what is his articulation for? Is he just trying to be right? Or is he trying to represent his positions in public for some other reason?

He's a political comentator, so I don't get your questions. Everyone is trying to be right, but at least some people present their arguments in a clear and articulated manner, instead of mostly just screaming insults like rabid SJWs do.

Shapiro is an orthodox Jew, so ofc his argumentation is ultra-conservative. But he manages to avoid the Bible thumping and instead uses a more logical & rational approach to explain his positions. He has appeal and is a great rhetoric.

Personally I find him refreshing and interesting, a view from the "opposite" side, because for the majority of my life I've been exposed mostly to liberal leftist views on politics / society.

Ben Shapiro might be the POTUS one day. As long as he remains a straight shooter anyway.

He stated why he does what he does in one of the videos that's floating around. His motivations were, iirc:
- Present an alternative viewpoint that is underrepresented in modern political discussion
- Provide facts and give arguments defending those facts to the listeners for their own use
- He gets paid to do it and presumably enjoys it

I like his argumentation even though I disagree with some of the conclusions that he makes. I wish progressives had someone that argued so stringently and unemotionally (and if anyone knows of one, let me know).
