Use “Legacy the Bringer of Rain” to max block
Use “Varunastra vaal blade” for crit.

50% Crit & 453% Crit Multi with 92% Chance to hit
75% Block

But life build sucks in the end…… (we need CI version of BOR).

"The Bringer of rain" gives lv 18 faster attack, melee physical damage, and blind.
So it's 7L helmet.
Additionally, free poison from the pathfinder ascendancy.
Thereafter, it's effectively 8-Link

1) Legacy BOR:

It has great values on both offense and defense.
Easy 7L: Melee Attack Skill + BOR (Melee Physical Damage – Fast attack – Blind) + 3 Support Gems
Flat physical damage (20-30)
Great Block (15%) and Life (+200~220)

2) Varunastra

It got buffed in 2.6 update. It has more base damage & sweet flat +460 Accuracy; thus no more RT and we can go crit.
Varunastra can be considered as all one handed melee weapon types (sword, axe, claw, dagger, and mace). Since new claw tree is great, we can use all (dagger + sword + claw) tree.

1) Legacy Rumi’s Concoction Flask (best, but expensive) or Rumi Flask (need to spend some points)

Block Chance: L.BOR(15%)+Shield(27%)+L.Rumi(30, lowest value)*1.2(Pathfinder Flask Eff)=78%
L.BOR(15%)+Shield(27% or 30%)+L.Rumi(20)*1.2(Pathfinder Flask Eff)+ Shield Block nodes =75%

2) Broken Faith Archon Kite Shield

a. It gains 5-10% of physical dmg as chaos dmg
b. It gives 10sec of unholy might (gains 30% of physical dmg as chaos dmg) on block. Since it’s 75% block chance, we have free unholy might

3) The Surrender Ezomyte Tower Shield
a. 30% Block
b. Lv 30 Reckoning
c. up to +80 Life
d. Life Recovery

4) The Anvil Amber Amulet

Pro: +8% Block & +3% Max Block
Cons: has reduced attack speed, but it’s okay since we have great attack speed from the tree.

1) PF w/ Legacy Rumi
Tree is finished @89, and can spend next 3 points on 15% life on near Scion life clusters (will be ~6k Life).

Con: Constantly hitting flask & have to watch your flask usage carefully.

2) Assassin
Pro: the most damage output
Con: Survivability issue (Less Life nodes) + need to spend points on shield block nodes.

200k dpg but 5300hp (PF version is 117k dps with 5999hp) with exact same items including jewels.



3) Gladiator
Pro: Easy to cap block & Spell block (thus cheapest)
Con: Less DPS

4) Raider
Pro: free frenzy charges
Cons: less flask utilities.
