SSF characters share stash?

From what I understand, the whole idea of the SSF mode is to make it so that you don't get help from anyone else other that what you find/buy from the vendors.

But! I have just found out that my SSF characters are linked through their stash. This COMPLETELY defeats the purpose if you can get powerful items with powerful characters and give them to your weaker characters so they can speed through the levels faster. What is the point of Solo-Self Found if you can use stash stuff from other characters?

There is almost no difference between SSF mode and standard, as it is. If you are going to make a solo mode, then go all the way.

Please make SSF mode characters unable to share their stashes with other SSF mode characters.

Not sure if you're trolling but SSF is working exactly as the name implies. It means that you (player) are playing on your own without any assistance or gear from others (players). This is what has been requested, how previous honor based ladders worked and how people usually understand SSF.
I'm not trolling.

The idea of no trading is great. But if you can trade with your own characters through the stash, it's basically the same as trading with others. You make high level character with tons of drops, then you give those drops to your new characters. Those new characters have a far easier time due to the currency and items available to them from the stash. I'm sure I don't need to explain all this.

Take this as a request, then. SSF as it is now, doesn't feel like all that much solo. It it's more like a solo-account play, rather than solo-character play.

ssf mode has ever been announced as being league specific per account, not character specific.

It def isn't. How can you compare one person's findings with thousands'? [Removed by Support]

True but to an extent, most items have level req, some pretty high...

That's what was asked by the majority of those wanting a SF league. some wanted to still be able to party, a few (very few iirc) wanted what you're asking. SSF 2.6 is what we got...good enough imho.

Wazz, it's clear that you disagree with how I play. When I see "Solo" for me it means "alone". You don't need to call me clueless or trolling when I give Feedback to the wording of the SSF.

The items which boost low level characters allow your chars to skip through the really rough beginnings. It would be nice if the game recognized the ones who go through that every time. Rather than relying on my more powerful characters, I get everything myself from each character by themselves. That is what Solo Self-Found means to me, as I understand it.

They should call it "No-Trading", instead. Cus right now, it feels wrong.

These are my opinions.

You don't have to use items found on other characters, but the SSF rule sets that have existed in previous community driven SSF events have allowed for muling of items between other "SSF" characters on the same account. SSF means you don't party and you don't trade. Sharing items that YOU have found between your characters is not trading with other players, nor are you joining a party so...

Just so that you know, some people are capable of reaching maps, SSF, in what ..... 8 hours ?
From scratch.

SSF also means that you cannot party for boss fights or whatever, it definitely is a solo experience.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

No one has to use items found on other characters, but they do. Same thing with trading. I understand now that the people here see SSF as without trading, but from the perspective of someone who hasn't played much of this game, the wording isn't clear. I have already explained this in previous posts.

So what if other people play fast? So what if other people trade, mule or whatever they do. The point of this thread is to talk about the SSF trading between characters and how that's not all that "solo". The game may be solo per account, but it isn't for each character. As I said, it's worded poorly.

SSF community events have happened before this league introduced SSF support. The rules in those events were always exactly the way it is implemented now. While you may feel that it isn't solo, you are in the minority of the people who were requesting this feature/support.

If you feel that SSF should be solo per char, simply self impose that restriction on yourself the way SSF players have done since.. well beta I guess?
