I found this build earlier today and I really like how it plays after watching the gameplay.


1. Will the build as is run just fine on SC for 3.1? I noticed vaal pact nerf and Im no expert at poe in general so Im a bit confused how badly of a nerf this is to your build.

2. assuming it will work just fine in 3.1. Is this build feasible as a league starter? or would I have to spend too much time getting the uniques to make the build work? in that case I will do a GC mine as a league starter.

1. It's not having VP in build, so it's fine.

2. With sunder/bf starting (lvling + low lvl maps) I think it'll good.
Great build, RicoKGB, congrats! Really like the way you detailed the entire build and showed us a brief history of Mjolners. Thanks for the amazing work!

So, it appears Harbinger's uniques like Inya's Epiphany and The Flow Untethered won't be dropping anymore in 3.1, is that correct? (in fact the items are already overpriced at poetrade). And if so, will the build work just fine with Death's Door and Meginord's Girdle? Or even with some rares w/ resists, life and + endurance charges?

Looking forward to start the new league following this masterpiece!

Inya's Epiphany drops from Pale Council from Prophecy, so we can get it.

We lose only belt.

Regarding 3.1. I will be updating build for 3.1 soon. There are some minor changes but nothing sinister. Everyone can follow 3.0 guide with those changes:

+ The Flow Unthethered belt is out, Belt of the Deciever is nerfed - so use any good rare belt instead, especially +1 endurance charge belt.

+ due to the above 4.5 - 4.7 Cyclone APS is no longer needed, 3.6 - 3.9 is fine so adjust your tree/gem setup for that.

Rest of the gear / gems stays basically the same. This build was never using Vaal Pakt so it will work without issue in 3.1.

Mjolner can be used at lvl 60+ (ideally 64+), build can be lvled as something else till than (see my detailed lvling section in the guide). After that the only hard thing to get is Volls neck. Build can work as league started assuming you'll have enough luck to gather required currency for Volls neck (was 200c at the begining of the Harbinger). Without Volls neck build is able to farm T1-T5 maps only so keep this in mind.

Changes:

+ Devotos out, Scolds in (but Devotos can be still used for QoL and general mapping)
+ TFU belt out, +1 endu Meginord's Gridle in
+ Dropped some attack speed nodes, added 1 jewel socket and some life (now 6k+ life at lvl 93)

Expect same DPS from this build as it was in 3.0 with +1 TFU belt (Scolds vs TFU) and perhaps similar healing (again Scolds vs TFU). So in terms of real life perfomance with good gear around 35-37 sec T16 Minotaur kill time and Shaper viable.


EDIT 2: 3.1 summary for Shaper:



* lvl 93 char, lvl 21 Discharge, lvl 20/20 supports, lvl 20/20 RF, lvl 20/20 Ele Weakness, 1min Surge buff, Atziri's Promise, Wise Oak, +1 ec belt, Inyas Boots and Scolds. 181k DPU vs Shaper with Devotos Devotion instead of Scolds.

Wasn't ment like that. Was more thinking about how people start with idea about Mjolner in league start. How they level and what they use to switch to mjolner when they get it. What is second must have item to use etc. Never really rolled Mjolner from be get go. Last season it was my 3rd or 4th char. Had all items alreayd in bank.
There is a leveling section so, don't know what do you expect here. As said start sunder, I leveled myself on Mayhem with sunder to 65, then switch on discharge. For real, there is no difficulty to level with any skill, just go on something you like to play.

Its PoB update that finally includes "35% less dmg when triggered" property on discharge gem.

I was talking about that since forever, now its finally being corrected. And I can remove that info from the guide :)


EDIT: Here's my 210k DPU screenshot corrected with new PoB version:



* 137k / 0.65 = 210k or 210k * 0.65 = 137k (35% less dmg if triggered...)


In-game DPS wont change! It is now PoB correctly showing it!

really nice build cant wait to try it out in the new league tomorrow ^^

just one question why are you using blade vortex in your CWDT support it does not carry over the frost attack from the ring since its a spell and the dmg you get form it is minimal at best

could you elaborate on this choice?
