How to get to 100% cold conversion?

40% passives
40% ice shot

what about the last 20%?

that other guy answered you, but you could also use hrimsorrow (sp) or its fated version (it has a fated version right?), and pick up less passives; OR use phys to lightning and also shock for extra dps/longer freezes.

it was in the patch notes....ice shot is now 60%

and this jewel is 1000% op and required for ice shot builds...holy shiat
Pls, Bex tell me that the last one is one for the most beautiful skills we have ingame (my personal opionion ofc) -> power siphon!!!:)

like: with at least 40 int in radius power siphon gets 3 additional projectiles
with at least 40 int in radius power siphon chains 2 times.

i just need this one so that i can/would play my first remarkable build in poe from 2012.

ty very much btw for all the hard work and i wish the GG staff a good start in the new league

You would only need one if you are already running pierce support on the skill setup. Of course, you can run a 2nd one, but that means a bit more damage and AoE.

This jewel feels like a QoL improvement and at the same time a potential power creep jewel. This one is giving me mixed signals. >_<
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

i'd personally look to run two of these jewels to stack the AoE as much as possible and get a good railgun setup going. also it saves you a support gem by skipping out on pierce, which with its nerfed values isn't a must take anymore. other better supports to be had now

19% more projectile damage is still worth it unless you are planning on using Hypothermia, then probably worth switching.

Would Shadow or Ranger be better for full elemental Ice Shot? Shadow ascendancy has awesome crit with the power charges but I got told Shadow is better for poison builds.

just depends if you want to go crit or not. ranger i think is better because you have options, you can go pathfinder, deadeye or raider for ice shot builds.

you can still cap crit as well with increased critical strikes gem, passives, gear and a good harbinger or any good base crit bow
Cold to fire support, avatar of fire ,dyadic dawn

Good combo for a ignite build

Rip pyre
Cool! Was already planning on running ice shot, this only makes it better.
