For the middle tree (the high ES one), why not grab Shaper (for 1 skill point) instead of the nearby Quick Recovery cluster (refunding 3 skill points). This gives you 2 more points to play with, and as you were going CI you actually walk away with the same mana regen but more life regen without any downside. (you could use one of those refunded points to hit up Zelot's Oath, or is it not worth the point without more life regen nodes?)

What do you think about the Essence Surge Cluster (near CI)? Is the energy regen time increase not important if you take Zealot's Oath?

You may want to try +3 Bow and Soul Strike - if you are playing Legacy League you may be lucky enough to get Relic version of Soul Strike with "150% of faster start of energy shield start recharge" and have awesome defence with awesome offence.
