[2.6] Martyr of Innocence build theorycraft

Hi. Made self-ignite build with Blade Vortex, Martyr of innocence, two Mokou's Embrace and Eye of Innocence. The idea is to use blade vortex to ignite you through Eye of Innocence, and proc Martyr of innocence's vengeance, and its other properties.
Havent decided if MoM is worth it or not.. I know the skill tree update is not out yet, this is just preliminary. 7.3k life 877 life regen 51% block chance without flasks 2% fire leech while ignited (all the time) 95% chance to ignite with BV Overcapped res for ele weakness maps 40% increased attack/cast speed while ignited. 50% chance to be ignited. According to path of building, BV dps without flasks are 130k at max stacks Vengeance 30k dps (87% chance to hit) - 150k ignite dps. You need the path of building app in order to see the build Links are: BV > Added Fire > Fire pen > Chance to ignite. i was thinking of something similar myself, so decided to try this out, your tree was better than mine so i've done something based on that.
even minus the red nightmare and death's door it's still looking good on paper, but those would be late game BiS items. too expensive for me at the moment. those and the other jewels are the most expensive part of the build. i dropped the eye of innocence on my first char this league which got me to thinking about this build. however, i'm level 76 now, and mana and cast speed are an issue. getting to 20 stacks is not doable on BV right now. swapped some points into cast speed and reduced mana cost/regen and it's looking a little better but still clunky-ish. damage is alright though so far saying no Q on gems and not high level yet... almost got an enlighten levelled up so hopefully that will make it a bit smoother on mana. i'm running leap slam with fortify in the staff, the vengeance doesn't do huge damage anyway tbh but is nice for the mana leech mainly. EDIT: also yes, don't take pious path, that cast speed wouldve been really nice though! EDIT 2: completely forgot to say i have my BV in hysteria gloves for more added fire to spells (almost as much extra as the staff itself gives) Last edited by monosama on Apr 3, 2017, 12:36:58 PM

ok so i've pretty much got it going now, swapped chance to ignite for spell echo, you still ignite all the time from leapslam/vengeance/20bv stacks, so it's not too much of a problem.
also once i got the life high enough, i could run bloodmagic clarity. you need this to get your stacks up when not ignited, entering a boss room for example. not sure how you missed this in the original tree, but going avatar of fire is 20% more damage. i'm sitting at 175k BV in PoB now (when ignited and "hit" recently, which is all the time almost), with L18 gems and no quality on fire pen, added fire etc. now i just need new supported packs to come out so i can get the red blade vortex mtx :P Last edited by monosama on Apr 4, 2017, 5:13:10 AM
