Game launches w/o pop-up windows

You know the good pup-up windows that let you select what game mode, what server, what character etc.
When the game launches, there are no popups shown it's just a screen with all of the background graphics and music playing. If I hit enter a few times I get to the pick a character and into the game. I have no idea what I am selecting because there are no pop-up windows. When I get in the game, I can't get the pop-up windows to appear either; stash, equipment panel, anything. I guess I'll try a full reinstall on my end. What a pain though.

sry for multiple posts. when I posted it said there are no resources for what you are trying to do. It only showed I had posted after 3rd try. I would delete post, but I can't delete my own post?

borderless_windowed_fullscreen=false
to
borderless_windowed_fullscreen=true

fullscreen=true
to

directx_version=auto
to

This will help you to get interface back.

Well did not work. Thanks anyway. directx keeps spawning a line in the file for auto when the game is launched after I changed to 11.

Did you edit this file with windows default notepad? It will not work. Install something better (with proper UTF-8 support), like Notepad++.
