Chin Sol trapper in Legacy ?

I've been playing PoE for a long time, but never dove deep enough into it to be able to design and theorycraft my own builds.
One particular unique that facinated me over the years was the Chin Sol bow, It's always so dirt cheap that I often vendored it without much care. Later on I've heard from friends that it can be utilized well in trapper builds due to the massive proximity bonus damage. Now, traps is something I never actually used before and have zero experience in the field.

Would a chin sol based build work in 2.6? Are there existing 2.5 builds that rely on it?

Yes, it would work.

Traps are bad.

If u wanna play with chin sol, get ranged attack totems and reverse knockback instead.. alot less clunky.
